The delegation accompanied by representatives of the Embassy met with their counterparts from the Upper Chamber of the Dutch Parliament, visited 3 prestigious healthcare facilities in The Hague and its surroundings (HagaZiekenhuis, MC Erasmus in Rotterdam and MC Haaglanden in Leidschedam), attended a briefing at the Ministry of Health and Sport and met with representatives of the Brabers Foundation which deals, among others, with relations between medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies. During the discussions attention was paid especially to the health care organization, functioning of medical facilities and health insurance system, special emphasis was placed on experience in cancer research.
