During the visit an informal meeting with the President of the Dutch Senate Ms Ankie-Broekers-Knol was organized. Mr. Štěch attended a reception co-hosted by the Czech Embassy in The Hague and the Czech-Dutch Chamber of Commerce. He also visited the Upper Chamber of the Dutch Parliament (the Senate) and held bilateral talks with its Vice-President Mr. Joris Backer. In Rotterdam Mr. Štěch attended the unveiling of the memorial dedicated to T.G. Masaryk. The theme of the bilateral meeting in the Dutch Senate was the current migratory crisis and cooperation between the parliaments.
