The color code for capital city Prague was changed from "yellow" (watch out for security risks) to "orange" (only necessary travel)

(This article expired 21.01.2021 / 20:30.)

With immediate effect from 15 September 2020, travellers arriving in the Netherlands from Prague should self-quarantine for 10 days, even if they do not have any symptoms or have been tested negative for COVID-19. Travellers from other areas of the Czech Republic are not affected by the measure, as well as travellers from outside the capital Prague and who have traveled directly to Prague airport. Persons residing in the Netherlands should travel to Prague only when necessary.

Once in the Netherlands, it is possible to self-quarantine at home or in temporary or holiday accommodation. Certain categories of travellers are exempted from self-quarantine, unless they have symptoms, e. g. transit passengers who are travelling via the Netherlands and do not leave the airport’s international transit zone.
