Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy promotes economic and trade relations between the two countries, informs about the current investment possibilities and, especially in Vietnam, participates in the preparation and realization of Official Development Aid granted by the Czech Republic to Vietnam.

Regularly, representatives of the economic ministries of both countries meet in Joint Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation with the aim to identify projects of common interest and to eliminate existing trade obstacles.

Similarly, every year a group of Czech businessmen participates in Vietnamese international trade fairs within the frame of the Czech Republic´s official presentation. Every ministerial or similar visit is accompanied by a group of enterpreneurs. There are groups of international trade fairs´ participants organized by CzeachTrade agency as well.
