Visit of the Standing Senate Commission on Media in Finland. During the visit the delegation met representatives of the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA), Transport and Communications Committee of the Finnish Parliament, Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Council for Mass Media. On the second day of the working programme the delegation visited premises of the public broadcasting company YLE where the delegation met with YLE representatives including company´s CEO Mr Lauri Kivinen.

October 27 – 29, 2015

Visit of minister for Human Rights, Equal Opportunities and Legislation Mr Jiří Dienstbier to Finland. Minister Dienstbier participated at the OECD Public Governance Committee´s Ministerial meeting on 27 - 28 October. The last day of the visit (29 October) was devoted to bilateral negotiations with Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice Mrs Tiina Astola, Parliamentary Ombudsman Mr Petri Jääskeläinen and representatives of the of the Advisory Board on Romani Affairs.

Global Education Industry Summit (GEIS) took place in Helsinki on 19 and 20 October. The Summit was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Mr Stanislav Štech and Mr Petr Černikovský - Director of the Department for Strategy and European Affairs of the Czech Ministry of Education.

Meeting of Sub-Committee on NATO Partnerships and Sub-Committee on Energy and Environmental Security in Helsinki. The Czech Republic was represented by members of the Permanent delegation of the Parliament of the Czech Republic to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mr Antonín Seďa and Mr Jan Farský.

Working visit of Minister of Trade and Industry Mr Jan Mládek to Finland. Meeting with representatives of comapnies Fortum, Posiva, TVO and Fennovoima, visit to the VTT Technology Research Centre, discussions with the Director General of the Finpro agency and talks with the Finnish Minister of Employment and the Economy Olli Rehn.

Informal High Level Meeting to mark the 40th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act. The commemorative ceremony, following discussion and informal lunch was attended by Mr Ivan Jestřáb -  political director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

24th Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.  The Annual Session was attended by the members of the  Permanent Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly of the Parliament of the Czech Republic: Chamber of Deputies was represented by Ms Ivana Dobešová (head of the Permanent Delegation), Ms Zuzka Bebarová Rujbrová, Mr Marek Ženíšek and Mr Ladislav Šincl. The Senate of the Czech Republic was represented by Mr Petr Bratský and Mr Petr Gawlas.

Visit of Under-Secretary of State for External Economic Relations of the Finnish MFA Mr Matti Anttonen with business delegation to the Czech Republic. On Monday 27 April Mr Anttonen held bilateral consultations with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Non-European Countries and Economic Diplomacy Mr Martin Tlapa and with Deputy Minister for Energy policy of the Ministry of Trade and Industry Mr Pavel Šolc. Within the framework of the visit a business forum took place at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The forum was attended by more than 80 Czech and Finnish companies.
