Mr Král had discussions with his Finnish counterpart Mr Antti Kaski, Director of the Unit for Policy Planning and Research of the MFA of Finland and he also met Director of Finnish Institute of International Affairs, Ms Teija Tiilikainen, Director of Aleksanteri Institute, Mr Markku Kivinen and Foreign Policy Adviser to the President of the Republic, Mr Hiski Haukkala.

Negotiations of Director of the Unit for Security Policy and Crisis Management of the Finnish MFA Mr Mikko Kinnunen with his Czech counterpart Mr Tomas Szunyog in Prague. Consultations were also attended by Ms Johanna Salovaara-Dean, member of the Working Group on NATO at the MFA of Finland and Ms Helena Tuuri, Finland's ambassador in Prague. Mr Szunyog organized a working lunch which was also attended by Political Director of the Czech MFA Mr Ivan Jestrab.

Mr Tuomas Tapio, Director of the Unit for Central, Western and Southern Europe of the Finnish MFA and Ambassador of Finland to the Czech Republic Ms Helena Tuuri also participated in his discussion with Junior Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic responsible for European Section Mr Jaroslav Ludva.

Visit of State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Petr Gajdušek in Finland. The State Secretary met his Finnish counterpart Petri Stenlund. Pirkko Hämäläinen (Under-Secretary of State), Ari Rouhe (Director General, Admin. services), Virpi Kukkasniemi-Leino (Advisor to the Under-Secretary of State) were present at the meeting.

Business trip of CzechInvest´s representatives to the region of South Savo. Petr Heczko (Director of Investment Development Department) and Tomáš Vavrečka (Head of Foreign Operations Division) made a business trip to Mikkeli (Regional office of South Savo). CzechInvest´s representatives presented services of CzechInvest, talked about investment environment in the Czech Republic and discussed a visit of a Finnish trade delegation to the Czech Republic (planned for May 2016). The organization of the business trip and negotiations of CzechInvest´s representatives in Mikkeli was supported also by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Helsinki.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic responsible for European Section Ivo Šrámek in Finland. He had discussions with Special Adviser for EU-Affairs Mr Jari Haapiainen at the Prime Minister´s Office, with Director General of the Department for Europe at MFA of Finland Mrs Liisa Talonpoika and her Deputy Juha Ottman and with Director General of the Political Department of MFA Mr Jukka Salovaara. Director General Talonpoika organized a working lunch which was attended also by Ambassador Pekka Orpana, Senior Adviser for external energy relations and climate policy at the MFA.
