International Summer Schools in Czechia

International Summer School Ostrava 2019 will take place 8 - 19 July 2019
VSB - Technical University of Ostrava offers intensive courses taught by skilled professors and specialists of the highest regard in their fields.   All the courses are taught in English.

Program of ISS Ostrava 2019:

8 – 12 July 2019   

  • Adventures of Architecture in Ostrava – Urban Wildness

  • New Approaches to Quality Management

  • Human Aspects in Industrial Control

  • Renewable and Alternative Energy Sources

15 – 19 July 2019

  • Advanced Methods of Mechatronics

  • Battery Camp

  • Activity Week


Join the students from around the world to improve your English, have immersive cultural experience learning about life in Europe and the Czech Republic, and of course improve you academic, scientific, and overall knowledge in your chosen topics.

The Summer School takes place during the world famous music festival Colours of Ostrava, considered one of the world’s top-ten music festivals. Ostrava will be filled with people from all over the world for “Colours”.

Course workload:                           approximately 30 hours of direct contact hours
Credits:                                               2 ECTS/week/course

Fee includes:                                    tuition, study materials, and entrance tickets for the field excursions.
