Invitation for Children to participate in the 49th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2021

The Lidice Memorial - Lidice Gallery has announced the 2021 competition of the International Children's Art Exhibition. The competition is open to children from the Czech Republic or abroad at age of 4 to 16, though handicapped participants can enter the exhibition regardless of age.
The theme of the competition in 2021 will be ROBOT and artificial intelligence to commemorate the centenary of the first release of the Czech writer Karel Čapek’s drama R.U.R., in which the word 'robot' was used for the first time.
The competition can be attended with following art techniques.
- - Drawing, painting
- - Printmaking
- - Mixed media
- - Photography
- - Film/animation
- - Art objects (ceramics, metal, wood, glass, textile, paper)
The closing date for applications to the 49th edition is 19th February 2021 (latest accepted date of the postmark on the artworks consignment).
