Exhibition of paintings by Markus Konttinen was opened at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Helsinki within the Embassy Gallery project on 1st March 2013.

Markus Konttinen was born in 1952. He studied at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki. He is a member of Finnish Artists´ Association, Artists´ Association of Helsinki and Finnish Painters´ Union. At present he is a dean of the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts. M. Konttinen has had his exhibitions in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.
