The Mole on his tour around Finnish libraries again this year

During April and May the Mole met his friends again in six Finnish libraries. The Czech Embassy in cooperation with libraries and expatriates in Helsinki arranged six meetings with reading Mole´s stories. The Mole character is very popular in Finland.
One of the most popular heroes in Finland, Mole (Krtek), went to see his Finnish friends in libraries in Helsinki also this year and he visited gradually the libraries in Kannelmäki, Tapanila, Paloheinä, Jakomäki, Vuosaari, Pukimäki. The Mole´s stories were translated by Mrs. Kirsti Siraste, a well-known translator of Czech literature into Finnish. Readings met with great interest this year and the Czech Embassy intends to continue the readings in other libraries in September.
