Consultations of 1st Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Finland and presentation at "The Conscience of Europe" conference

1st Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Petr Drulák had consultation meetings at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland on 19 March 2014. He had discussions with Secretary of State Mr. Peter Stenlund and Under-Secretary of State for foreign and security policy Mr. Jaakko Laajava. A part of the working program was also Petr Drulák´s speech at "The Conscience of Europe" conference.

The conference named "The Conscience of Europe" took place in the Finnish Parliament premises on 18 and 19 March 2014. The conference was organized by the Drom Association (Finnish Creative Association for Arts and Culture). The speakers of "The Conscience of Europe" conference consisted of European decision makers, figures in cultural life and recognized academics. Former President of Finland Tarja Halonen was the main patron of the project and she also officially opened the conference. The central motto of the conference was an effort aiming at reforming the EU's policies concerning multiculturalism, minorities and immigrants. The conference is a part of Drom´s larger project for the years 2014-2015 supported by the European Union. The project consists of many other events devoted to the questions of multiculturalism in Europe.
