Czech movie “To See the Sea” on the Film Festival in Helsinki

This year the festival “European Film Weeks” in Helsinki will present Czech film “To See the Sea” directed by Jiří Mádl on 20 April 2016 at 5 p.m.
 

This festival held during 8 – 20 April 2016 is organized by the European Commission Representation in Finland and the European Parliament Information Office in cooperation with Embassies and cultural institutes of EU member states and candidate countries. This year not only Embassy of the Czech Republic in Helsinki but also Czech Centre in Stockholm is participating on the screening of the film.

The film “To See the Sea” is an interesting story of a 11-year old Tomáš who wants to become a famous film director. He got a camera as his birthday present and decided to make a film about his family without knowing what he will discover. Starring: P. Šimčák, J. Maršál, O. Vetchý, L. Trmíková, J. Pokorná, M. Táborský. Script and directed by J. Mádl.  

All screenings are in Eurooppasali, Malminkatu 16, Helsinki; free of charge. First come, first served!
