Promotion of human rights stands at the very core of the foreign policy of the Czech Republic. The respect for human rights and dignity is not just a value in itself but it also helps to foster international security and sustainable development.

In Pakistan, the Embassy of the Czech Republic promotes human and especially women rights continually through annual projects under the Transition Promotion Program, but also through dialogue and different public diplomacy events.
