Long term visa and Residence permit
For detailed information on long-term visa, see the Entry & Residence section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic web page.
Supporting Documents
Documents issued by Pakistani authorities, such as marriage or birth certificates, police character certificates, and school diplomas have to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and further authenticated (superlegalized) by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad.
All the supporting documents, except for medical certificates and bank account statements, which can be submitted in English, must be translated into Czech by a translator registered by the Czech Ministry of Justice. Alternatively, translations made in Pakistan must be verified by the Embassy.
The required documents must be already authenticated when submitting the visa application. Separate appointments at the Embassy are needed to authenticate documents and to submit the visa/residence permit applications. Please consult the “appointments” section on the menu on the left.
