The First Indonesian Ballet Gala

The Embassy of the Czech Republic is happy to co-present and support The First Indonesian Ballet Gala. This ballet gala will introduce the first ever international ballet collaboration where Indonesian top dancers from Ballet Sumber Cipta, Marlupi Dance Academy and Namarina Youth Dance will dance along world-class ballet dancers from Korean National Ballet and award-winning ballet stars from Australia and the Czech Republic from the West Australian Ballet and Bayerisches Staatsballett.
Fourty-four Indonesian dancers and eighteen international dancers will perform The 1st Indonesian Ballet Gala. The proceeds of this event will be donated to establish ballet scholarship for Indonesian talents. Tickets are available at Kiostix.com.
The Czech Republic will present an excerpt from the famous “Swan Lake” ballet, danced by two award-winning Czech dancers, Barbora Kohoutkova and Lukas Slavicky, from Bayerisches Staatsballett.
The 1st Indonesian Ballet Gala is presented by Ballet.id (Ballet Indonesia Foundation), The Korean Cultural Center, the Embassy of the Korean Republic, the Australian Embassy, and the Embassy of the Czech Republic.
