Traveling to the Czech Republic during the state of emergency - measures in force from Monday March 16th, 2020 (0:00 AM)

Government of the Czech Republic took the further measures, following the declaration of the state of emergency in the country´s entire territory for 30 days with effect from 12th March 2020.

Based on the decision of the Government of the Czech Republic declaring the state of emergency and the further decision made on 13th March 2020, the travel restrictions related to high epidemic risk countries that had taken effect on Saturday March 14th, 2020 (0:00 AM) were extended to non-risk countries, effective from March 16th, 2020 (0:00 AM).   

From midnight from Sunday 15th March to Monday 16th March 2020, the ban to entry is extended to all foreigners, not only from high risk epidemic countries. Foreigners residing in the Czech Republic with temporary residence over 90 days or permanent residence are excluded from this measure.
