Another lecture in the MFA’s economic education was focused on the issue of economic security. The lecture was presented by a Hungarian university professor, Mrs. Magdolna Csath.

Another economic education lecture for diplomats implemented by the MFA’s Department of Education and the Diplomatic Academy was held on 22 April 2015. The lecture was devoted to the theme of economic security. The lecturer was Mrs. Magdolna Csath, Professor at Saint Stephan's University. She focused on a number of concepts related to economic security: index of economic vulnerability, the ability of countries to withstand external shocks, the global competitiveness index, how each country’s economic growth can translate into social development and political instability as a result of imbalances between economic growth and social development. Her lecture also showed that economic stability and independence can be enhanced by stimulating innovation, improving the quality of governance, emphasising human capital and promoting the production of high added value.

Professor Csath has long focused on the management of competitiveness, innovation and change management, strategic management and global strategies of companies.
