Internships abroad for students of Diplomatic Academy MFA CR in April-May 2013

After successful finishing the theoretical part of the Diplomatic Academy, the students of DA were sent abroad for a two-month internship. This time the selected countries included – Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, India, South Africa, Ethiopia, Chile, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Belgium. The main purpose of these internships was to acquire a detailed knowledge of the functioning of an embassy and to get a hands-on experience of what it is really like to serve as a diplomat.
After successful finishing the theoretical part of the Diplomatic Academy, the students of DA were sent abroad for a two-month internship (April-May 2013) to one of the embassies of the Czech Republic all over the world. This time the selected countries included – Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, India, South Africa, Ethiopia, Chile, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Belgium. Despite being described as interns, the students of DA had a unique opportunity to participate in the operations of the embassy as full members of the diplomatic staff and therefore their stay at the embassies was mutually beneficial.
