Czechs interested in working for EU institutions were trained in Union finance

 

Seminars by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs focus on how to prepare for competitive exams and on the expertise required about the European Union. Successful participants should increase their likelihood of getting a job in the European Union. The most recent seminar was on September 17, 2014 and focused on Public finances of the European Union.

In terms of preparation for competitive exams of Czechs into the European Union institutions, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the National Focal Point of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The Permanent Representatives Czech Republic to the EU, organized a seminar about Public finances in the European Union on September 17, 2014.

Jiří Hladík, from the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation of European Commission, led this half-day project. He teaches the same theme for the future Chiefs of Delegations of European Union in Countries of the Developing World.

The seminar included discussion about the perennial Financial Framework, institutional geometry of Public finances of the European Union, budget of the European Union, budgetary principles, basiclegislative acts or about the division of power between institutions of the European Union.

The seminar was held in the Great Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and attracted about sixty interested people.
