ANITA PELLE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF SZEGED LECTURED ON ECONOMIC COURSES FOR MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

 

Anita Pelle, professor of European Economy and Business at the University of Szeged, lectured to Czech diplomats about the competitiveness of the European Union.
 

On 22th April 2015, Mrs Anita Pelle, a professor of European Economy and Business at the University of Szeged (Hungary), lectured within the context of economic education at the MFA on the competitiveness of the European Union and its member states.

Professor Pelle dealt with the concept of competitiveness, the role of the European integration process for European competitiveness of the EU member states according to the competitiveness index of the World Economic Forum. In her analysis, she showed the still existing division of north/ south and east/ west of the EU as a result of the recent economic crisis and growing differences between the core and periphery of the EU.

Anita Pelle regularly teaches in France, Italy and other EU countries on the theme of European economy and competition in the EU internal market. Lectures organized by the Department of Education and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. MFA diplomats, diplomats from foreign embassies, and colleagues from the economic ministries of government were in attendance.
