Date: 29.03.2017 , Venue: Ottawa

The policy planning consultations of Director David Král took place on 29 March 2017, shortly after the visit of minister Zaorálek in Ottawa (19 – 25 March). The main counterpart was the director general for Strategic Planning in Foreign Policy Peter Lundy who was joined by the respective territorial directors in course of the consultations.

At the beginning of talks, director Král met with the Assistant Deputy Minister Vincent Rigby.

During the consultations David Král informed the partners of the structure and tasks of the Czech policy planning department. In course of the individual consultations blocks he acquainted the Canadian counterparts with Czech attitudes on the issues discussed, including the relations with the USA, EU, NATO, Russia and Ukraine, as well as foreign policy evaluation.
