2nd Czech Israeli Forum on Innovation (CIFI) on eHealth

The 2nd Czech Israeli Forum on Innovations dealt with eHealth and implementation of digital technologies in Healthcare (telemedicine, artificial intelligence, big data). It was, again, organized by the Czech MFA, the Embassy of State of Israel in Prague and the Czech-Israeli Chamber of Commerce. Some 200 leading professionals (policy makers, senior researchers and entrepreneurs) participated, including Dr. Ami Appelbaum, Chairman of Israel Innovation Authority, Ing. Rut Bízková, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Research Policies and Member of the RDI Council, Dr. Rachelle Kaye, International Consultant at Assuta Medical Centers and Prof. Ondřej Slabý, Government Commissioner for Science and Research in Healthcare. The deliberations, reflecting the experience with combating the current pandemics but also long-term healthcare needs of Czech and Israeli societies, provided an ample evidence of an enormous potential for further bilateral, mutually beneficial, collaboration at many levels, from common project forged by Czech-Israeli research and expert teams working at universities and HMOs up to the policy making.
