Purpose of study - where proceedings are resumed

 

Consulates given below have partially resumed visa services for certain travel purposes as of May 11, 2020 (Government decision no 511).

Please note the following information concerning visa applications for the purpose of study:

As of May 18, 2020, it is possible to continue processing of long-term visa / residence permit applications for the purpose of study that have been filed before March 14, 2020. Once the decision on the application is available, the applicant will be notified to pick up the visa / decision. We kindly request applicants to await this notification.

Acceptance of new long-term visa / residence permit applications for the purpose of study is resumed at these consulates as of May 18, 2020, however ONLY for applications filed within the STUDENT FACILITATION (REŽIM STUDENT) PROGRAM.

Acceptance of OTHER new long-term visa / residence permit applications for the purpose of study continues to be SUSPENDED. Resumption of these visa services will be tied to the expected reopening of the external borders of the Schengen Area, currently scheduled for June 15, 2020.
