You can apply for all types of visas at consulates given in this table, if the country, for which this consulate provides visa services, is on the list of the so-called "green" countries or the EU+ countries:

"EU+" countries = EU Member State + Andorra,  Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican

III. EXTENT OF PARTIAL VISA SERVICES

CONSULATES GIVEN IN THE PRECEDING TABLE (POINT II) ACCEPT VISA APPLICATIONS FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF VISAS ONLY:

---SCHENGEN VISAS:

family members of EU / CZ citizens

unmarried partners of EU / CZ citizens

● in the interest of the Czech Republic

international transport workers

● critical infrastructure workers 

● diplomats and officials of international organizations

seasonal workers (based on Decree of the Ministry of Labor and Social Services No. 322/2017 Coll.)

● health, social services, and food processing employees

● employees in scientific, key and highly qualified professions fulfilling conditions of the Highly Qualified Worker Program and Key and Research Staff Program

● employees who are citizens of Ukraine and submit their applications in Ukraine - daily limit in Kiev = 500 and in Lvov = 500

● in exceptional emergency situations as defined in pt. II/2i) of the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health

---LONG-TERM VISAS AND RESIDENCE PERMITS:

LONG-TERM VISA FOR THE PURPOSE OF SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT (based on Decree of the Ministry of Labor and Social Services No. 322/2017 Coll.)

SPECIAL WORK VISA

● visas / residence permits within the KEY AND SCIENTIFIC PERSONNEL PROGRAM, including family members

● visas / residence permits within the HIGHLY QUALIFIED EMPLOYEES PROGRAM, including family members

● visas / residence permits within the PROGRAM QUALIFIED EMPLOYEE  

PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMITS FOR COMPATRIOTS (based on decree no. 1014/2014)

● BLUE CARDS and applications for long-term residence permits of their spouses and minor children

● LONG-TERM RESIDENCE PERMITS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH and applications for long-term residence permits of their spouses and minor children

LONG-TERM VISAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF STUDY - visas can be issued for studies as defined by the Act on Stay of Foreign Nationals - see this article for definition (point "for the purpose of these applications, “study” comprises the following educational activities")

RESIDENCE PERMITS FOR THE PURPOSE OF STUDY - visas can be issued for studies as defined by the Act on Stay of Foreign Nationals - see this article for definition (point "for the purpose of these applications, “study” comprises the following educational activities")

● LONG-TERM AND PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMITS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FAMILY UNIFICATION, but only if the family unification involves spouses and minor children of foreign nationals who already reside in the Czech Republic on a basis of a long-term or permanent residence permit; other family members cannot file these applications at the moment

● LONG-TERM VISAS FOR THE FAMILY PURPOSE, but only if the family unification involves spouses and minor children of foreign nationals who already reside in the Czech Republic on a basis of a long-term or permanent residence permit; other family members cannot file these applications at the moment

visas for the purpose of collecting residence permits (the so-called D/VR type visa) – the so-called VISA STICKER TRANSFER – for any purpose of stay

LONG-TERM VISAS AND RESIDENCE PERMITS IF THE FOREIGN NATIONAL´S STAY IS IN THE INTEREST OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC and is supported by a corresponding document

Consulates listed above are located in countries with extreme risk of Covid-19 transmission. The list and reasons for inclusion is set in the Special Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health. Submission of new applications for long-term visas and residence permits and processing of applications already filed is suspended in accordance with pt. II/3 of the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health.

Countries with extreme risk of Covid-19 transmission: Botswana, Brasil, Colombia, India, Lesotho, Malawi, Mosambique, Namibia, Nepal, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tunisia, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Consulates listed above are closed for visa services and entry from these countries is banned with the following exceptions: (1) permanent, temporary and long-term residence permit holders, (2) EU citizens who are holders of temporary residence permit, (3) persons travelling in foreign policy or public health interest, (4) diplomatic missions and int´l organisations staff, (5) professional athletes and members of state sport representations - must be supported by the National Sports Authority, (6) int´l transportation workers, (7) holders of long-term visas isssued after August 2 (concerns purpose of study in accredited university programs - consulates in "black" countries accept long-term visa applications for this purpose only).
