Tomáš Dub will be appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

 

Tomáš Dub will be appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic on Monday, August 30, 2010. Tomáš Dub is going to replace Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy Helena Bambasová. Helena Bambasová was appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Hungary.

Ing. Tomáš Dub is a member of ODS (Civic Democratic Party). He graduated from international business at the Vysoká škola ekonomická (University of Economics), Faculty of International Relations in Prague in 1992. Tomáš Dub served as chairman of the Foreign Committee of the Prague Assembly. He was Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2002 - 2010. As Member of the Parliament he served as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and Chairman of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO.
