Minister Schwarzenberg met Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia

 

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg met Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Vladimir Gennadievich Titov at the Czernin Palace on Friday, October 8, 2010. A part of the visit of Deputy Minister Titov were bilateral consultations with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jiří Schneider.

Karel Schwarzenberg a V. G. TitovThe meeting was aimed to revive regular political dialogue between the Czech Republic and Russia on deputy ministerial level. Consultations of deputy ministers Schneider and Titov were focused on issues of bilateral political dialogue, including proposed consultations between ministries of foreign affairs of the Czech Republic and Russia, issues of economic cooperation, including the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation meeting in Moscow and Partnership for Modernisation. Jiří Schneider and Vladimir Gennadievich Titov discussed issues of cultural and education cooperation and visas. The talks about multilateral issues were focused on security and EU issues, including EU-Russia and NATO-Russia relations.
