Minister Schwarzenberg met Minister of State of Germany

 

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg met Minister of State of Germany Werner Hoyer in Prague. They discussed current bilateral and European issues at the Czernin Palace.

Karel Schwarzenberg a Werner HoyerWerner Hoyer participated in consultations with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Vladimír Galuška. The talks were focused on EU issues, including Schengen area enlargement and relations with Western Balkan countries.

Vladimír Galuška and Werner Hoyer met with representatives of the Czech-German Discussion Forum which was helding a meeting in Prague. Vladimír Galuška and Werner Hoyer met chairmen of the Czech-German Commission of Historians which was helding a meeting in Liberec. The Commission commemorates its 20th anniversary this year. Vladimír Galuška and Werner Hoyer positively evaluate work of both platforms and supported their future activities. Representatives of the Czech-German Fund for the Future attended the meeting with both diplomats and were appreciated for their previous deeds contributing to good Czech-German relations.
