The Conference was opened by the Premier Recep Erdogan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu. The Conference supports diplomatic efforts of international community and the mission of the special UN and Arab League envoy Kofi Annan. The main objective of the Conference was to evaluate the situation in Syria and to find possible solution to the crisis there, especially how to stop violence and destabilization in the country and help Syrian refugees in their humanitarian needs.
