Deputy Minister Drulák Met Ambassadors of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Petr Drulák took part in a festive Ramaddan iftar with Ambassadors of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) accredited in the Czech Republic on 14 July, 2014. The iftar dinner was hosted by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Czech Republic, Souriya Otmani, who is also a Chairwoman of the OIC Heads of Mission group in Prague.

Iftar is the very first meal that observant Moslems enjoy during the month of Ramaddan after they break the daylong fasting. It is a festive event and a traditional opportunity for social gatherings.

Organization of Islamic Cooperation was established in 1969 and it represents 57 member countries with predominant or major Moslem populations.
