The meeting focused on the implementation of the Association Agreement and its part, the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between the EU and its Member States and Georgia.

Ministers also discussed the deepening of domestic political reforms in Georgia, the creation of transparent legal and business environment, as well as the strengthening of competitiveness and economic growth. The delegations also evaluated opportunities for deepening bilateral economic cooperation and trade exchange and debated the current developments in Ukraine and possible approaches to the resolution of the conflict.
