Minister Zaorálek commented on the progress in concluding the Agreement: „ The final internal approval procedures are under way on both the Czech and Israeli sides. I am convinced that the Agreement can be signed in the first quarter of 2015.”

Ministers discussed the security issues in Israel, as well as in the whole Middle East region – foremost in Syria, Iraq and Iran. Recent challenges in Israeli-Palestinian relations and prospects in peace talks were also on the agenda. The meeting focused also on the possible deepening of mutual cooperation between foreign ministries of both countries.
