In a series of talks, including a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Lubomír Zaorálek, the situation in Eastern Europe, crisis in Ukraine in particular, and issues related to NATO and road to 2016 Warsaw summit were discussed.  “We have agreed it is necessary to avoid the escalation of violence in Ukraine and we must continue to coordinate our positions and work together to find a solution to the conflict,” said Minister Zaorálek after his meeting with Assistant Secretary Nuland.
