Deputy Minister Drulák in Georgia

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Petr Drulák will visit Georgia on June 24-25, 2015 to hold consultations with his counterpart, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Gigi Gigiadze. Both partners will focus on further development of mutual relations and exchange views on the situation in the South Caucasus and on current international issues.

Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries hold consultations regularly, the last round took place in Prague in April 2014.  The two deputy ministers will evaluate mutual economic and trade relations, discuss implementation of the Association Agreement and exchange views on the prospects of economic cooperation among countries of the South Caucasus. During his visit, Deputy Minister Petr Drulák will also meet with the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Paata Zakareishvili and State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration David Bakradze. He will also participate at a round table of Georgian NGOs and think-tanks and will meet with local journalists. At the end of his trip, he will visit the EUMM Field Office in Gori to learn about the situation of people living near the administrative boundary line with South Ossetia. In Tbilisi, he will also meet with the Head of EUMM Kestutis Jankauskas.
