Minister Zaorálek in Austria

Minister of Foreign Affairs Lubomír Zaorálek will pay a working visit to Linz on August 21, 2015, where he will participate in the meeting of Czech and Austrian Foreign Ministers with Governors of the border regions. Minister Zaorálek will also hold separate talks with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz to discuss bilateral relations and regional, EU and international affairs.
Ministers and Governors’ meeting will focus on the current topics of the cross-border cooperation, e.g. improvement of the transport infrastructure, energy, youth exchange programs, cross-border emergency health services, disaster protection, cooperation in the field of education, research and development, combating unemployment, tourism etc. With regard to the current development in Europe, topic of migration will be also on the agenda.
The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs with the Governors will take place on the invitation of the Governor of the State of Upper Austria Josef Pühringer and will be a follow-up to the previous meeting in the same format in Mikulov in November 2014.
