The Ministers discussed the opportunities to further strengthen bilateral political relations as well as economic and trade cooperation and exchanged views on a number of current regional and global issues.

Minister González presented Costa Rica as a stable country with good investment climate and encouraged Czech entrepreneurs to extend their activities to this perspective market.

During his visit to Prague, Minister González was also received by the Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament Zdeněk Škromach and met Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek and the Vice- Rectors of the Charles University and the University of Economics.
