The main topic of discussion was the economic diplomacy in the specific conditions of Africa and its connection with the political and development dimension in the context of the new Foreign Policy Concept of the Czech Republic. Special attention was paid also to migration from African countries to the EU and also to the results of the November migration summit in La Valetta.

The outputs from the regional meeting including shared experiences with the support of export and analyses of economic, security and political developments in the countries of sub-Saharan Africa will be reflected in the action plans of the Czech embassies in the region for the year 2016.
