Taking into account the high level of Czech – Swedish relations and the proximity of Czech and Swedish positions on many EU policies the main aim of Minister Wallström’s visit will be the summary of bilateral relations and exchange of views on current EU affairs.

The discussions will include topics such as migration, security issues, fight against international terrorism, regional conflicts, Russia, Ukraine and other foreign policy issues. Ministers will also touch upon upcoming ministerial meeting of Visegrad countries and Nordic and Baltic countries, which will take place in Latvia in April 2016.
