The aim of the working visit to Burkina Faso is to establish closer contacts with the new leadership of this country, which in the past two years has undergone a dramatic evolution culminating in exemplary democratic elections at the end of 2015. Deputy Minister will also discuss possibilities to deepen economic and trade cooperation between Burkina Faso and the Czech Republic.

The visit to Ghana is a reciprocal visit for the Ghanaian Deputy Foreign Minister T. K. Quartey visiting Prague in October 2014. In addition to regular political consultations with his counterpart in the Ghanaian Foreign Ministry meeting are scheduled also in the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defence. Ghana is one of the key partners of the Czech Republic in West Africa.
