The main topic of their discussion was the cooperation between the Czech Republic and Mongolia and between the capitals of Prague and Ulaanbaatar in the field of environmental protection. Mongolian authorities have long been interested in the know-how of Czech experts on environmental protection, particularly in the area of ​​decontamination of soil and water resources and waste management. Several major Czech companies have been involved in successful environmental projects implemented both in Ulaanbaatar and other locations in Mongolia. During the talks, Deputy Minister Kaucký highlighted the traditionally good and intensive relations between the two countries and assured his Mongolian partner that the Czech Republic supported the development of contacts between the Czech and Mongolian companies in the field of environmental protection.
