Minister Zaorálek to Welcome UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek will meet with Boris Johnson, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on November 11, 2016. UK Foreign Minister will arrive to the Czech Republic for a working visit.

The visit takes place in the framework of exploring the positions of member states and institutions of the EU after June’s referendum in the United Kingdom. The formal proceedings of negotiations should be launched by the British government before the end of first quarter of 2017.

In addition to discussion on the future of the EU, including the UK’s role and bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom, talks will also touch on security policy and the fight against international terrorism, regional conflicts and migration.
As well as meeting Foreign Minister Lubomír Zaorálek, Secretary of State Boris Johnson will also be received by the Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka.
