Date: 01.12.2016 - 02.12.2016 , Venue: Czernin Palace

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Centre for the European Security of the Institute of International Relations in Prague, the Charles University, the Prague Vision Foundation and the Metropolitan University, would like to invite you to the 6th Prague Agenda Conference that will take place on December 1-2, 2016, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Czernin Palace.

Since the 2009 President Obama’s announcement on his long-term nuclear disarmament vision in Prague followed by signing the 2010 US-Russia New START Treaty, Prague has gradually established itself as a venue for discussion and taking stock of issues related to nuclear arms control and non-proliferation. The first conference on so called Prague agenda took place in April, 2011.

The conference is organised to offer the participants both from academic and political sphere, the opportunity to discuss issues of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. Leading topic of this year’s debates will be - given the termination of the mandate of President Obama - the evaluation of achievements in fulfilment of his vision from a global perspective.

After the conference, the participants will have a unique opportunity to visit the ATOM Museum in Brdy, a former storehouse of nuclear warheads.
