Czech Ambassadors from the Middle East and North Africa Countries Met in the Czernin Palace

Minister of Foreign Affairs Lubomír Zaorálek opened the meeting of the Czech ambassadors accredited to the countries of the Middle East and North Africa on Monday February 13, 2017 in the Czernin Palace.
The minister appreciated their demanding work in sometimes extremely difficult conditions and expressed his thanks for their cooperation during the past year. During the two-day meeting, the ambassadors and the MFA leadership discussed series of topics regarding the political and security situation in the region, fight against terrorism, Middle East Peace Process, migration, bilateral economic cooperation, effective management of development and humanitarian aid to the countries affected by the conflicts and other issues related to the region. Contribution of colleagues from key multilateral missions contributed to constructive evaluation of the Czech foreign policy in the region. Meeting with the representatives of the Czech private sector and ambassadors from Middle East and North Africa countries accredited in Prague was also part of the programme.
