He will discuss bilateral issues and opportunities for mutual cooperation of the Czech Republic and Portugal in Africa with Teresa Ribeiro, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. Deputy Minister Tlapa will explore potential for further enhancement of economic and trade cooperation with Miguel Frasquilho, President of the AICEP, the government agency for investment and external trade. On February 25–26, Deputy Minister Tlapa will preside over a meeting of Czech Ambassadors accredited to countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The Heads of Missions will discuss political and security development in Africa, opportunities for Czech economic and trade cooperation including the field of agriculture, issues of migration, efficient management of development assistance and humanitarian aid.
