The discussion covered the current regional and global foreign policy issues and the involvement of the Czech Republic.

Among the main topics discussed were the current situation in the Middle East and North Africa, the fight against global terrorism within the international community and the EU, and active contribution of the Czech Republic to this effort, including cooperation within the framework of V4. Special attention was paid to the bilateral relations of the Czech Republic with individual Arab states and to the cooperation with the Prague Group of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation, including the preparation of the second conference on intercultural dialogue, which will take place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in autumn.
