Deputy Minister Smolek in his speech highlighted excellent work the Honorary Consulate has been providing since 1994 to Czech nationals visiting the Federal Land Upper Austria. He also appreciated the current political dialog and growing cooperation between South Bohemian Region and Upper Austria.

The ceremony was attended by the Czech Ambassador to Austria Jan Sechter, South Bohemian Region´s President Jiří Zimola, Upper Austria´s President Josef Pühringer, members of the Upper Austria’s consular corps and other local, municipal and business representatives.
