Deputy Minister Dürr Held Consultations in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On March 23–24, 2017, Deputy Minister for European Affairs Jakub Dürr visited Sarajevo where he held political consultations with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkić.

The consultations focused on the process of integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the EU and NATO, on regional cooperation in the Western Balkans and on bilateral relations.

Deputy Minister Dürr expressed support to the country's European and Euro-Atlantic integration process and confirmed the importance which the Czech Republic attaches to the enlargement of both organisations. Deputy Minister Brkić expressed his gratitude for Czech support both at the political level and in the area of bilateral development cooperation.

Deputy Minister Dürr also had a meeting with Deputy Head of the EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina Khaldoun Sinno and visited the Economic Faculty of the University of East Sarajevo, where he gave a lecture on the topic of European integration.
