Czech MFA's Statement on the Incident of the OSCE Patrol Vehicle in Donbas

MFA expresses deep regret over the incident in Donbas in which a patrol vehicle of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine exploded after driving over a mine. One American monitor was killed in the incident. Two others, including a Czech national, have been transported to hospital.

The Czech Republic fully supports the OSCE SMM to Ukraine. The Czech Republic calls on all parties to the conflict to ensure security of the mission monitors as well as full and unfettered access throughout the territory of Ukraine.
