Deputy Minister Dürr Met Minister of State of Ireland for European Affairs, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection

 

On May 29, 2017, Deputy Minister for European Affairs Jakub Dürr met with Minister of State for European Affairs, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection of Ireland Dara Murphy.

The exchange of views focused mainly on current agenda of the European Union with a special attention to the negotiations of the EU and the United Kingdom and its impact on Ireland and other Member States. The bilateral relations of both countries, assessed as very good, have a potential for further improvement, especially in trade, both sides agreed.

The discussion on the future of the EU focused on the agenda of digital single market and data protection and other crucial issues such as EU enlargement.
