Deputy Minister Dürr Visited Moscow

Deputy Minister for European Affairs Jakub Dürr visited Russia and met the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Russian Federation, Vladimir Gennadjevič Titov on October 9, 2017.
Both partners held talks on the current bilateral relations and exchanged views on the important foreign policy issues. They discussed the preparation of the official visit of the President Miloš Zeman to Russia in November this year. Further they commented the preparation of the Czech-Russian Discussion Forum and agreed on the list of inter-ministerial consultations. Both Deputy Ministers exchanged views on current international issues, including illegal annexation of Crimea and the situation in the Eastern Ukraine. Deputy Minister Dürr expressed the Czech support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and asked for Minsk Agreement fulfilment.
During his program in Moscow Deputy Minister Dürr met representatives of civic and human rights organizations and visited the NGO “Memorial”.
