Deputy Minister Dürr Opened a New Honorary Consulate in Bălţi and Held Talks with Moldovan Partners

Deputy Minister for European Affairs Jakub Dürr visited Moldova on October 12, 2017. He took part in official opening of the new Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in the second biggest Moldovan city Bălţi. There he was also present at handover ceremony of the donation of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic to the Moldovan side in the framework of the Czech development cooperation.
He also held regular talks with his Moldovan partners at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration deputy ministers Lilian Darii and Daniela Morari.
Discussions focused on the political dialogue between the Czech Republic and Moldova, their economic relations, sectoral and development cooperation. The current EU-Moldova affairs and the development in the region were also on the agenda. Deputy Minister Dürr also met with the general secretary of the Office of the President Ruslan Flocea and the Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Chisinau Peter Michalko.
